The story
Matching a luxury charter experience with a website that feels just as polished
Royal Pacific Air operates a Cessna Grand Caravan for private inter-island charters across six Hawaiian islands. Their clients are high-net-worth travelers who expect a premium experience from the first interaction. The site needed to feel as polished as the service itself — luxury positioning, not a generic aviation template.
We built a single-page experience with eight scroll sections orchestrated with cinematic scroll animation. A static preloader renders instantly before the app hydrates, images are served in modern formats at four responsive breakpoints, and the inquiry form triggers dual emails — one to the team, one confirmation to the client.
Cinematic scroll experience
Parallax backgrounds, scroll-triggered reveals, animated counters, and a Ken Burns hero — with physics-based smooth scrolling for a weighty, premium feel.
Branded preloader
A static preloader that paints instantly before hydration — logo animation, line sweep, content reveal — skipped for returning visitors.
Interactive island map
Custom map covering Oahu, Maui, Kauai, the Big Island, Molokai, and Lanai with route visualization, airport data, and destination details.
Dual-email inquiry system
Two styled email templates per inquiry — an internal notification with full details, and a personalized confirmation to the prospective client.
